Open positions:

Business Informatics Specialist

To manage existing Client engagements and to stimulate our further growth in the Tracking area through implementation of standard dashboarding solutions, we are searching for the ideal candidate for our team in central Copenhagen.

Degree & formal training

The Business Informatics Specialist will have a degree that combines economics, mathematics and data/computing. The appropriate degree will, as a minimum, be on a Bachelor level from either CBS, ITU or DTU Compute. Additionally, the right candidate will have at least 2-4 years of professional training in another data oriented/analytical position from either a research company, a consultancy or from the Client side.

Data and analytical Skills

The Business Informatics Specialist should demonstrate strong data structuring and analytical abilities, as the job requires the application of mathematical, statistical and data structuring techniques to large sets of consumer-, business-operations and other data. Furthermore, good project management skills are required to help both implement and manage ongoing data tracking programs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will assist in interpreting these numbers to produce actionable insights that help business leaders make fact-based decisions. Therefore, strong capabilities in mathematics, business informatics, data science and strong attention to detail is paramount, together with problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking.

Computer/IT Skills

A lot of the work will involve working with quality assurance, structuring and analytical treatment of data in a standard dashboard application. Consequently, the Business Informatics Specialist needs excellent computer skills, including the ability to use statistical and spreadsheet software programs (i.e. MS Excel, Xlstat, SPSS), but also be proficient in integrating data into standard SaaS applications including setting up graphics that support Client information needs. Additionally, skills with communication and presentation software such as MS Powerpoint to help structure and finalize Client reports and recommendation papers is a requirement.

Communication & Collaboration Skills

The best data analysis will lose its impact if not communicated so that business managers and directors can understand them, regardless of their quantitative knowledge. To accompany their systems- and data management skills, the Business Informatics Specialist needs strong communication skills that allow them to produce charts and graphics and write reports that present research findings in an understandable manner. This includes the ability to be brief, succinct and conclusive together with story-line writing and framing insights into a bigger picture. As the Business Informatics Specialist will work closely with our analyst team, strong collaboration skills are required.

Desire to learn and lead

Tracking and dashboard engagements are all about accumulating multiple data sources into an understandable context. This requires that the Business Informatics Specialist is equally systematic and structured, whilst also being inventive and intellectually curious. The candidate must not only display a willingness to learn daily, but also help guide our company development as a data-driven insights consultancy.

Typical job tasks and areas of responsibility include:

·          Monitoring research & data collection processes

·          Structuring of data

·          Quality assurance of data

·          Setting up standard reporting functionality in our dashboard solution

·          Sparring with partners

·          Building standard reports

·          Presentation of results

·          Assist in business development within the tracking and dashboard area
